Rev. Timothy Kpeh Concludes Monitoring Visit to Orange Communication Tower Projects in District #1, Rivercess County

Rivercess County, Liberia – Rev. Timothy Kpeh has successfully concluded a two-day monitoring and assessment visit to District #1, Rivercess County, from June 24–25, 2026, to review the progress of the construction of three communication towers being developed by Orange Liberia in the towns of Bodoeweah, Bahn Town, and Bluwean Town.


The visit formed part of Rev. Kpeh's ongoing commitment to ensuring that development projects initiated through advocacy and collaboration are implemented effectively and deliver lasting benefits to the people of District #1.

Throughout the visit, Rev. Kpeh met with local authorities, traditional leaders, youth representatives, women groups, and residents to assess construction progress and discuss the anticipated impact of the towers on the district. The communication infrastructure is expected to significantly improve mobile network coverage, facilitate business transactions, strengthen emergency communications, expand access to digital services, and enhance educational and economic opportunities for thousands of residents.

At each project site, Rev. Kpeh received a warm and enthusiastic welcome from elders, youth, women groups, and community members, who expressed their appreciation for his persistent advocacy and leadership in helping bring the communication towers to District #1.


Speaking on behalf of the communities, several local leaders thanked Rev. Kpeh for his dedication to addressing one of the district's longstanding development challenges.

"For many years, our communities struggled with limited communication services. Today, we are witnessing a dream becoming reality. We sincerely thank Rev. Timothy Kpeh for standing with the people and advocating tirelessly until these towers became a reality."


Addressing residents during the visit, Rev. Kpeh expressed gratitude for the warm reception and reaffirmed his commitment to promoting inclusive and sustainable development throughout the district.

"This project belongs to the people of District #1. I am deeply encouraged by the progress made so far and grateful to Orange Liberia for honoring its commitment to expand connectivity into rural communities. Improved communication will open doors to education, healthcare, business growth, public safety, and stronger community development."


Rev. Kpeh further emphasized that reliable telecommunications infrastructure is essential for reducing the digital divide and ensuring that rural citizens can fully participate in Liberia's social and economic development.


He also called upon residents of Bodoeweah, Bahn Town, and Bluwean Town to safeguard the communication towers and related infrastructure, describing them as valuable community assets that will serve current and future generations.


The communities reaffirmed their commitment to protecting the facilities and pledged their continued cooperation with Orange Liberia and other development partners to ensure the successful completion and long-term sustainability of the projects.


Rev. Kpeh concluded his visit by thanking the elders, youth, women groups, local authorities, and all citizens for their hospitality and support. He reiterated his determination to continue advocating for additional development initiatives, including improved roads, quality education, healthcare, safe drinking water, sanitation, agriculture, and economic empowerment across District #1.
